Progress report: I have the system installed, and I'm looking at bugs
in the ecj package, and possibly in gcc itself.

One thing: the whole system does not seem to be very stable. gdb
doesn't work at all well, which makes debugging hard. It really
doesn't feel like a system that's ready for Beta.

Andrew.
