 Just re-read and I'm not sure how to rephrase. Suggestions? I definitely
 _did_ mean "hide", and I don't think that's high level enough that I don't
 consider it an implementation detail. (_How_ they're hidden — now that is
 implementation.)

 encourage some better language here, though, and that if you don't want to
