 Yes, I would think it's mostly a communication issue. Maybe it's an issue
 of expressing himself in English, and in his native language his choice of
 words would not felt that negative?

 That's a great and constructive idea. Does anyone know how other
 communities are dealing with the same problem? Should we encourage
 excellent behavior more rather than punishing unwanted interaction?
