I didn't read this as hair splitting. Adam seemed to be refering to the age
of the machines that are going to be targeted with this image vs the age of
the machines that were involved in the grub1 tests "way back when". As
booting is highly BIOS dependent, the old test results might no longer
apply.
Its academic I think, this sub-thread stemmed from me asking for the test results. Since then I've tested and you can multi-boot from isolinux in the same way just fine.
