For now - nothing - it's just default option for desktop, fallback... It's blocked now by "Board should ask the existing Spins what they want/need". That doesn't mean Gnome spin wouldn't be default desktop (even as a non Gnome SIG member I don't see reason why not - at least now - considering resources, main market's (NA) popularity) but it will hopefully make clear what other communities in Fedora wants/needs.
