I'm one of those with burn out. I'll tell you why too. We've had obviously poisonous people in our communities for years, and as a project we seem to be unable to either convince them to spend their energy elsewhere, or force the issue. Instead we let them continue to spew over our email lists, our bugzilla, our IRC channels, etc... It's quite frustrating, particularly when these people pick up "followers" who think it's OK to keep doing crap like that. I've yet to see an effective policy or proposal on how to deal with this. Show me a candidate who has one, I'll vote for 'em. - -- Jesse Keating Fedora -- Freedom² is a feature! identi.ca: http://identi.ca/jkeating -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (Darwin) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iEYEARECAAYFAky/RjEACgkQ4v2HLvE71NWtSgCeLkdCmvug6J5umnsbB7Z+XaPj HDcAmwf8KGNCNnZiF3cnE2dD1E/Dbu9R =Q4aD -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ advisory-board mailing list advisory-board@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/advisory-board
