Spins SIG is kind of a both ways example. The previous Spins SIG leader ran out of time and I tried to fill in pending getting someone more interested in that position to take over. I am less burned out with Fedora than with doing a job I really didn't want to be doing in the first place. A big issue of Spins SIG is that the individual spin teams don't seem to be interested in contributing to an overall effort to make all spins and the spins process work better. I don't know if it's lack of time, lack of knowing the purpose of Spins SIG or some other reason. When I get relieved of my Spins lead role, I'll be more likely to volunteer for election stuff. Though I'll probably also run for FESCO again at some point (so I could have conflicts of interest). But currently I want to skip this term to recover a bit by doing more fun stuff in Fedora. _______________________________________________ advisory-board mailing list advisory-board@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/advisory-board
