Personally, I'm not happy with the answer, from a community building viewpoint; Dave rocks but he doesn't scale all that well. OTOH, it is precisely because of our kernel maintainer, accessibility to him, and working closely with the upstream kernel that Moblin came here in the first place. They are going with best-of-breed-for-them solutions. I've rolled this about in my head. My instinct is, if they do know about the new Remix mark, they don't care. It can't hurt to ask.
