mizmo and I prototyped this at FUDCon, and are ready to put it in place
under Plone:

http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Join

From each of those groupings should be a link to one or more
ProjectName/Join links.  That final page contains project-specific
how-to-get-involved instructions.

We need to be sure that we don't impose a one-size-fits-all approach to
account creation if it overrides the individual project unique
preferences.  As long as a full-wizard-style doesn't stray into that
territory, it is worth setting as a goal.
