I think there needs to be a place for kernel modules somewhere in the "Fedora Universe", that's all I'm saying.

The first step is ensuring that the mechanisms are in place to allow others in the Fedora universe to build, deliver and hook in their modules. This is what Jon Masters has been providing support for. We don't need to actually deliver kernel modules ourselves this way, but neither should we preclude others from doing so.

Is Jon's work documented anywhere?
