We dont know it is "Well patented". All I heard is that there are
potential patent issues and the potential is more than other random
pieces of code but lets not state this as if its a fact and paint
ourselves into a corner.
Well, I _do_ know it is well patented. Who wants to become tainted by
reading the patents? :)
However, it might be better to just say:

A link to OIN please. Might also throw in the point that OIN was the
reason we decided to include Mono.
