The reason for the package being put into EPEL testing was covered in this update notice: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2016-23fa04bf1c It has been in testing for a long time looking for data on if it will break or fix systems. If you can please test and let the packager know. There is no plan to have side-by-side versions of redis2 and redis3 because redis2 is end of lifed. > Where can I find documentation or discussion threads or tickets which answer questions like this? > Normally if you don't see it in the history of EPEL-devel then it needs to be brought up like you did why it happened. After that looking through bodhi or similar tools to contact the person who submitted the build. > Thanks > David > > _______________________________________________ > epel-devel mailing list -- epel-devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > To unsubscribe send an email to epel-devel-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx -- Stephen J Smoogen. _______________________________________________ epel-devel mailing list -- epel-devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to epel-devel-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
