The trim did do something. When I manually do it on rootfs on loop device, the sparse image doesn't become any smaller. Hence everything needing to be trimmed has been, and all the values I'm getting for these commands matches Fedora infra log. What remains a minor mystery is why the net size of the ISO isn't smaller then a few weeks ago.

But the Oz situation does seem to be a problem because I can consistently get the images smaller by manually trimming them. Due to lack of logging I'm not sure where the problem could be yet.
