Hi Jerry. Happy to listen. Remember that Fedora is a community project, and
that some code paths don't get well tested if no one in the community is
using them. Apparently that's the case here -- I know that from my
experience, kickstart over the network is pretty normal.

For shoehorning in the update, take a look at this:

  http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Anaconda/Updates

Basically, you can provide an "updates.img" at runtime to fix your issue. At
least, I hope so -- the network problem might be a special case, but it's
worth trying.

I think it's pretty awesome that you're using Fedora in your product. It
might be worth your time in future releases to help test functions that are
critical to you in each new Fedora, even if you're not rebasing your product
to that.
