With these patches you can install packages. There is almost no chance that repos on local media (cdrom/dvd/hd) will work, but http has worked in my testing. There's a patch here to automatically enable CLEARPART_TYPE_LINUX, so be aware of that. If you're running this you have no business complaining about such things. Patch 3 is very rough.
