I've never really seen rEFIt as something to use in production. It offers no security that I know of (something analogous to passwd protection present in grub). It always seemed like a kluge </opinion>. I only boot a rEFIt CD when I need to run gptsync. My understanding is the need for running gptsync will be going away in F16 (or F17) when Apple EFI support "just works". At that point, is there any value in rEFIt? Thanks, James
