The biggest user is probably Dell -- they explicitly added the support
to make their factory kickstart process a bit more predictable.  So
Matt might be able to give a better read on if it's still being
used/important for them.

Ok, so then we should not remove it I guess. Which only leaves option #2
from my original mail, Document that these options won't work with BIOS RAID.
