When you say "ones on the right will be formatted" does this mean
the entire device? Or can we pick a partition only to be formatted
in a later screen?

That all depends on what you selected on the "Use All Space/Use
Linux/Use Free Space/Etc." screen. That choice is equivalent to the old
drop down we had on the initial partitioning screen. If you select an
option that would cause your existing VGs to be destroyed, then yes that
is what will happen.

I can get to a screen after the third screen that shows all devices
with correct paritions and I see the mdraid 10 device but no LVs.
Is this a bug? If so, happy to file a bz.

Can you show me a screenshot of the screen in question?

Attached is a screenshot. There is more of the same not shown, but no LVs are shown. Selected custom layout and moved all drives to the right and selected a drive (sdf) for boot. BTW, went back and tried other methods--use free space; replace existing, etc, but the only time any LV was shown was when free space was used to create a default VG/LV layout. Also, BTW, I tried to use free space on sdf to create a boot partition and got a traceback and sent it to bz, but it looks like that part is not working yet as it completed like it had sent, but a search of bugzille using My Bugs doesn't show the bz. Saved the logs from the traceback if a bz is appropriate.

Thanks for looking at this.

Sincerely,

Clyde Kunkel
