Hello list. 1. Create a min_max constraint to avoid alignments issues. I went back to the sectors_per_track thing. With that said, in all a day of testing whit customize partition starting off from a blank and used label, the two approaches (with sectors_per_track and without) showed not difference in behavior. 2. We need to search by name without the "mapper" prefix. 3. Handle the case where filesyste is unmountable. This happened to me because of breaking in the middle of installs. Anaconda told me that there was an issue with the filesystem (was unmountable) and it gave an option to exit. I think giving the user an option to ignore or reformat is much better. A little doubtful about the use of partitionProtected here. 4. Setup the disks before partitioning as the nodes are needed. This is to make the setup and tear down functions in dmraid work. any other place where those functions can be? 5. Make sure we have a clean lvm ignore list when we initialize. It happens when going back and not ignoring what you initially ignored. the lvm calls will fail because we have regular expressions to ignore in the lvm list, that are not valid after one goes back and restarts the process. ATM I'm hitting a _very_ annoying bug that tells me that the partitions cannot overlap. I have not been able to consistently reproduce it :( Review appreciated. regards -- Joel Granados Brno, Czech Republic. _______________________________________________ Anaconda-devel-list mailing list Anaconda-devel-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/anaconda-devel-list
