RE: RH 5.2/5.3 installer complaining about read-only devices on thesystem during install

The error shows up well before partitioning page. As soon as anaconda
brings up GUI and we select language and keyboard I see 2 pop-ups for
read-only device. Again after partition page even though I don't select
automatic partitioning and don't select this usb drive I see 3 more
pop-ups for the same device. So in total I see 5 pop-up warnings for the
same device.

If you have left the USB jumpdrive connected to the system and selected
an automatic partitioning method, this error will show up.

More details about how you are installing would be useful to get a
better idea of what's happening.
