I found that it is the comps.xml file that needs to be edited before running the pkgordering and then the buildinstall.
I concluded this as I could see everything working properly when I did this by dumping the original Fedora tree and then went on to start the building process. It went on smoothly without any errors.
But the problem is with the editing of the comps.xml file. I don't know how to edit it with my own customized packages and howto check the dependencies with it.
Please help me,
Thanking You,

This link that google found may have some good questions for you.
http://www.cygwin.com/ml/cygwin/2005-05/msg00967.html
Perhaps the first question to ask is, "How did you get the files to your
hard drive?" Did you check the media if you are using a cdr that you
created? If you have an ISO image file already in place, then you could
just mount the file and use the iso without first burning the iso to cdr
media.
mount -t iso9660 myfc5.iso /mnt -o loop
However, you still need to perform a sha1sum on the cd to make sure it
matches what was posted. There is a file that holds all of these for
the ISO files. Use
sha1sum -c sha1sum.txt
These techniques help protect you from media or file corruption
problems. These issues could be causing your cpio errors.

Greg
