Thanks for your reply. When reproducing to give the exact error, I've noticed that the problem is not in anaconda or with the kernel. Mixing up kernel versions is not supposed to work, duh... I was still booting with an 2.6.11 kernel, but the installation images, like initrd.img were prepared for 2.6.17. A real stupid mistake, oh well... Cheers, Niels
