Anaconda with kernel 2.6.17

Hello,

I'm trying to create an updated Fedora Core 4 installation CD-set. For
some reason I am not able to get anaconda to find the kernel modules of
the FC4/updates 2.6.17-i586 kernel. During generation the right kernel
is unpacked. Even booting the kernel goes okay. But the loading of the
modules does not succeed. Messages like "module(s) <some module> not
found" occur. When gunzipping the initrd.img and extracting modules.cgz
all modules are located in the correct directory structure?!

I would really appreciate someone who points me to the direction of a
solution. Maybe there is a BZ# or patches/updates for anaconda which I
should investigate?

For what it's worth, I'm using anaconda-10.2.1.5 from FC4.

Thanks in advance,
Niels
