Why does the Wiki have so many immutable Anaconda pages?

Why does the Anaconda part of the Fedora wiki (http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/AnacondaCustomization) have so many immutable pages? I wouldn't mind adding useful information that I've learned in the course of my work, but I don't see an appropriate way to do so. I also wouldn't mind correcting spelling errors and formatting errors. I apologize for my ignorant question here; I'm sure the answer to this is obvious to those of you who've been involved with Fedora for longer; most of my Linux work at the distribution level has been with Debian and SuSE.

I'm willing to put up a more accessible Wiki for those of us working on these issues of Anaconda customization, but only if it wouldn't act as a schismatic force in the Fedora community, especially since I'm a newcomer to that community.
