I have two problems with anaconda both of which are in bugzilla.redhat.com.
The first is anaconda does not use the correct resolution for my monitor
during an install. The other problem is if I switch windows (switch from F7
to F5 and back once or twice) I can cause my PC to freeze. I am fairly
certain that the cause of the freeze is anaconda not writing the correct
values to xorg.conf. I would like to know how the xorg.conf is generated by
(I am assuming) anaconda so I can add some code to get a working system. I
download the anaconda source and started to look around but I don't see
anything as obvious as generate_xorg.conf.c. So how does anaconda (or
whatever piece of software) generate the xorg.conf file for use during
install?
Thanks,
Jason
