Ed, The idea used to be that Red Hat wouldn't need to truly re-spin all the CDs... they would just add the updated packages to the RHupdates directory, and only re-make the first CD. That worked for a while until the first CDs of a given quarterly update became too large. Apparently that functionality has disappeared, and we non-Red Hatters are just now finding out about it.
