Hi,
I try to install rhl9 with a S-ata Raid ( intel ICH6 chipset ).
I have rebuild the kernel RPM using the 2.4.31 kernel source so I can
load the drivers ata_piix and iswraid with anaconda.
I see the s-ata drive and i can access to the raid array
(/dev/ataraid/d0) with the anaconda shell console (I see ataraid/d0 in
/proc/partitions and I can do an fdisk /dev/ataraid/d0).
but anaconda still show me only my 2 sata drives ( seen as sda and sdb )
but don't show me my raid array for partionning so i can't run my
installation on my raid device.
Does anyone know how to tell anaconda to use the device /dev/ataraid/d0
instead of /dev/sda or /dev/sdb ??
