In the case of installing from CD/DVD we really need to be able to eject the 
media too, we may be able to try another. It was a problem in RHL 7.x and 
it's bitten me again with FC3 or Nahant.

Often, skipping the package is a sound alternative. I'd rather be able to skip 
(eg) hwdata with the expectation I can fix it later.
