The specspo RPM itself is fine, I have installed it manually off my repository, so its certainly not corrupt.
But have you tried to install it off the CD? What if it was corrupt on the CD? A defect could have occurred at the exact spot where specspo lives. It could be the media itself. It sounds like everything else is ok.
Any insights?
