Hello Michael,
  Sorry for the delay. I was out-of-station for two days(may be due to the weekend holidays).
You should not change the files in the BUILD directory. These are generated automatically when you run rpmbuild. You have to change the tarball in your SOURCES directory. Don't forget to compress the source files after changing the images. Now I think everything will be OK.
