Where did you get this disc again? The FC1 discs that I downloaded from Red Hat do not have this problem. I have done hundreds of upgrades without having the problem that you describe. Perhaps whoever created your disc forgot to put in the ext3 module in the initrd. If you go to VT2 during the installation, can you mount your partitions? Forrest --
