Hi, When using buildinstall make sure you have the RPMs for the following kernel packages. kernel-BOOT i386, kernel i586, I personally have the following kernel related in my RPMS directory during buildinstall. kernel-pcmcia-cs-3.1.31-16.i386.rpm kernel-BOOT-2.4.22-1.2174.nptl.smg.i386.rpm kernel-2.4.22-1.2174.nptl.smg.i586.rpm kernel-utils-2.4-9.1.101.fedora.i386.rpm kernel-2.4.22-1.2174.nptl.smg.athlon.rpm kernel-2.4.22-1.2174.nptl.smg.i686.rpm kernel-smp-2.4.22-1.2174.nptl.smg.athlon.rpm kernel-smp-2.4.22-1.2174.nptl.smg.i686.rpm As you can see I have rebuild my own kernels. and just tagged them with SMG.
