In the kickstart docs, (/usr/share/doc/anaconda-9.0/kickstart-docs.html), it says, "If the kickstart installation does not require networking, [...] networking is not configured for the system." I have made many custom redhat-install CD's which use a kickstart on the CD and use the CD as the installation media, and I do not believe this is the case. If I set appropriate network settings in the kickstart they seem to work after the the system is installed. Is this in fact the case? Is this reliable?
