Which .py or .c file in Anaconda installs the kernel

Hi,

Which part of Anaconda selects the kernel to install?

First, what code discovers the processor type (i386, i586, SMP, etc.)?

Second, how does Anaconda know what version of the kernel to install? For example, if I build a custom CD with kernel-2.4.24 (my custom kernel), but kernel-2.4.20 was the default in the RH CD and, how would Anaconda know to install kernel-2.4.24? Do I have to modify Anaconda, or does it automamagically know which kernel to look for?

Thanks in advance,
Akbar
