adding new, removing and updating RPMs

Hi all,

Correct me if I missed anything:

To customize Fedora distribution (add/remove/update RPMs) you do the following:
1- remove any RPMs you will update from the Fedora tree
2- update the tree with your updated RPMs
3- add new RPMs ( you must here add your new RPM to a group in comps.xml or make new group for your new RPMs )
4- remove any unwanted RPMs
5- check dependences and fix errors
6- update your comps.xml with the removed RPMs

so far you are ready to build with your customization and from here use anaconda-runtime tools ...

Q. is there any tool to parse the comps.xml in order to add new group, add new package, remove group, remove package this will be nice?

any comments?
Thanx all
Basem
