I am running kernel 2.4.20 and that is what I believe http://www.bootsplash.org/ has a patch for. I also have the same kernel running on Red Hat 8 PC and in both cases it is working fine. <OT> Anybody know how to to get the animations working during the bootup? Something like the SuSe bootup on the top right hand corner.
