so the dvd part of the problem seems to be solved.

maybe you could:
- provide some more information (check anaconda logfiles)
- search which directory may have the same name as a requiered

moreover this doesn't look like a discinfo problem.

if you encounter the same problems running:
anaconda --test --method=nfs://your/RH/tree
it may be a kickest way of investigation ;)
