Currently our internal kickstart tools (http://kickstart-tools.sf.net)
run on any Red Hat release including 7.1. They allow us to generate an
internal release we call "Cisco Linux" for use by our engineers. Now
that I'm getting these tools to work to generate an internal RH 9
release, I would like getfullcomps to not require RH8 or 9, but it seems
that would be fairly difficult.

I would love to use getfullcomps if it would run on 7.1 or even 7.3 :)
Otherwise, if anyone wants to use our opensource tools to generate a RH
9 release, we have to tell them their web server needs to be running RH
9 as well (catch 22). This is because kickstart tools includes a
perl-CGI program called make_bootdisk that allows folks to generate a
single boot floppy (or setup PXE) and kickstart "Cisco Linux".
