Sure, but Red Hat Linux 6.2 was distributed as a single (binary cd). All packages were assumed to be on the first (only) cd. The newer distributions use the hdlist files to determine which cd contains a given package. If you move packages from one disk to another, you must regenerate the hdlist file. - -- - -Michael pgp key: http://www.tuxfan.homeip.net:8080/gpgkey.txt Red Hat Linux 7.{2,3}|8.0 in 8M of RAM: http://www.rule-project.org/ - -- -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE+Iqten/07WoAb/SsRAppeAKCsOcB17ZvoCowRJUTSGRylIyl59wCgnrdM 2e/TKi4aM9KfLjJWQ0dW9bQ= =WJKo -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
