I'd like to chip in here.  I've done a fair bit of customizing to anaconda 
and friends as well (even going so far as to have the RedHat dir in the 
dist tree be named DaveDina), and I sure would like to help in supplying 
patches for anaconda to make this more easy.

My sole question is - do the anaconda maintainers consider this a valuable 
thing to have, or is it too much hassle from a RedHat point of view ?
I'm willing to do some patch contributing if I know they make sense for 
you guys as well and if the anaconda maintainers feel this is the right 
thing to do here.
I sure would appreciate it, in any case ;)
