Hi, I recently purchased a laptop which doesn't seem to be detected by ALSA, even though some modules are loaded. The information is here: http://www.alsa-project.org/db/?f=87b55cb3e32224de1b8a69eb7622b1ed7c5c993c I have access to a BIOS setting which switches it from ACPI mode to PCI mode, and that gives the typical lspci/lsusb tools some more information: http://www.alsa-project.org/db/?f=6f173c5ab8093fe6436370db099216c73abb11cd In ACPI mode, the kernel even prints a message "intel_sst_acpi 808622A8:00: firmware: direct loading firmware intel/fw_sst_22a8.bin", which it doesn't do in PCI mode. Can I do something to make it work?
