Ok now on USB 2, the Antelop Orion 32 Channels.
I succeed in playing back and recording some sounds but it is very unstable (sometimes it works, sometime not).

So to check I use latency.c test alsa tool.

sudo ./a.out -P hw:2,0 -C hw:2,0 -m 512 -M 512 -p -s 10 -f  S24_3LE -c 32 -r 44100

It return

So I think that usb sound driver asks for a too high bandwidth that is not compatible with USB2 protocol. But because it works on windows on USB2, it should not be the case.

How can I know that the value of bandwidth that is asked?

Thanks,

M8hpw

Clement you are right, I try on a usb 2 port instead of a usb 3 one, an this error is removed.
But the usb 32 channel sound card is not really recognized.

But now I have a new error :
usb 4.1.1: cannot submit urb0 : error -28 : not enought bandwidth.

But the device works under Windows 7 with the same USB 2.0 port.

Regards.

Julien

This looks like a bug in the host controller driver.
Can you change to a different port (USB2/USB3)?

Clemens
