The pavucontrol is configured with Digital Stereo (HDMI 2) Output (unplugged) and the Output Device is HDMI / DisplayPort 2 (unpluged). The input bar shows the sound dB. There is no sound output from aplay -D hw:0,7 (or 3 or 1 or without -D) /usr/share/sounds/alsa/Front_Center.wav The output of alsa-info_alsa-info.sh: http://www.alsa-project.org/db/?f=bd273fc3afdd1d857ebdca2a68e324df4c0b89f2 Dmesg output this warning: [ 18.462557] ACPI Warning: SystemIO range 0x000000000000F040-0x000000000000F05F conflicts with OpRegion 0x000000000000F040-0x000000000000F04F (\_SB_.PCI0.SBUS.SMBI) (20150619/utaddress-254) [ 18.462567] ACPI: If an ACPI driver is available for this device, you should use it instead of the native driver [ 18.593916] input: PC Speaker as /devices/platform/pcspkr/input/input6 [ 18.867335] iTCO_vendor_support: vendor-support=0 [ 18.916335] sd 0:0:0:0: Attached scsi generic sg0 type 0 [ 19.028766] [drm] Initialized drm 1.1.0 20060810 [ 19.109034] iTCO_wdt: Intel TCO WatchDog Timer Driver v1.11 [ 19.109083] iTCO_wdt: Found a Lynx Point_LP TCO device (Version=2, TCOBASE=0x1860) [ 19.111945] iTCO_wdt: initialized. heartbeat=30 sec (nowayout=0) [ 19.177539] snd_hda_codec_realtek hdaudioC1D0: autoconfig for ALC283: line_outs=1 (0x21/0x0/0x0/0x0/0x0) type:hp [ 19.177547] snd_hda_codec_realtek hdaudioC1D0: speaker_outs=0 (0x0/0x0/0x0/0x0/0x0) [ 19.177551] snd_hda_codec_realtek hdaudioC1D0: hp_outs=0 (0x0/0x0/0x0/0x0/0x0) [ 19.177555] snd_hda_codec_realtek hdaudioC1D0: mono: mono_out=0x0 [ 19.177558] snd_hda_codec_realtek hdaudioC1D0: inputs: [ 19.177562] snd_hda_codec_realtek hdaudioC1D0: Mic=0x19 [ 19.177565] snd_hda_codec_realtek hdaudioC1D0: Internal Mic=0x12 [ 19.220635] input: HDA Digital PCBeep as /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1b.0/sound/card1/input7 [ 19.220838] input: HDA Intel PCH Mic as /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1b.0/sound/card1/input8 [ 19.220912] input: HDA Intel PCH Headphone as /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1b.0/sound/card1/input9 I have no idea, how to proceed :-(, Helmut ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Go from Idea to Many App Stores Faster with Intel(R) XDK Give your users amazing mobile app experiences with Intel(R) XDK.
