An ExpressCard connector actually has two connections, for PCI Express, and for USB. ExpressCard cards can choose which one they want to use. > I went to my local store and they connected the card directly into > a laptop with W7, and it saw the card, and after installing the driver > everything was ok. The convertor is intended to connect an ExpressCard card that uses only USB to a PC. (Its manual should say so.) It cannot work with ExpressCard cards that use PCI Express, such as your sound card. Most PCs do not have any mechanism for connecting external PCI Express devices (such as ExpressCard or Thunderbolt). Without such a mechanism, you will not be able to use the Indigo DJx with your PC.
