Setup question for normal playback on RME AES32 card

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,

I try to use a RME AES32 card in Linux. For a start, I want to get
normal stereo playback to AES3 working. However, I get distorted output
over AES3. In hdspmixer I see a signal on the first 3 playback channels,
whereas I expected 2 channels.

I made a short test in Windows 7 and this worked out of the box.

Any hints what I am doing wrong? Does that card require some sort of
special setup using asoundrc? Any pointers would be welcome.

Regards,
Tino
