I could not see a connection between MAX_USER_CONTROLS and MAX_CONTROL_COUNT.

 

Am I safe to just patch MAX_USER_CONTROLS to 128 and leave MAX_CONTROL_COUNT as is?

 

It seems that these limits are simply a means to prevent a user from using un reasonable amounts of kernel memory.
