/etc/asound.conf

Hi,

is there the need to edit an /etc/asound.conf to make all RME HDSPe AIO
ADAT channels available as jackd ports? Since years I'm using 2 ADAT
channels only, because the other 6 channels are not routed to the jackd
ports. HDSPmixer does show a signal for all ADAT channel inputs, but 6
of the 8 ADAT system capture jackd ports stay silent. In the Internet
there are a few HDSP /etc/asound.confs available, but using such a
config until now didn't change anything. Today is my first trial to edit
a /etc/asound.conf for this card. Any hints are welcome!

Regards,
Ralf
