This is not failure; the driver loads fine.

Did you hear anything?

There seems to be a misunderstanding.  The driver for your audio device is part
of the kernel.org kernel.

Did you try to install another driver?

... because that would explain why you have sound modules that are not
the correct ones for your kernel.
