Re: speakers do not mute after headphones plugged in

I have a variant of the Dell XPS13 (the developer edition: 9333
sputnik). I had a similar problem on my machine, except that the
headphone jack didn't seem to work at all. I did the following and it
seemed to work after this.

1. Enable "Auto-Mute Mode". You can do this by running ``alsamixer``
selecting the column and pressing 'q'
2. If that doesn't work try running (as root)

# alsactl init

3. Reboot

No guarantees that this will work for you...

I'm actually in the middle of writing a bug report to alsa-devel
because the card seems buggy under my current kernel (3.14)
