Trying to bind multiple USB audio sources to one many-track virtual "soundcard"
(hw 1,0 and hw 2,0). It doesn't work.

Restarted alsa, the computer, etc. The interface doesn't show up (multi) on audacity (using alsa).

The usb 1 audio sources are a usb mic and a usb guitar amp (peavey). They show up and work fine for recording from when used alone in audacity.

I want to be able to record my friends and I when we jam together, so I want to have the usb peavy amps hooked up, the mic, etc.

This seems to be impossible. I don't have money for a mac-pro and hardware mixers that connect via firewire and then 100k drug regimes to combat various viral infections that go with that lifestyle.

I use linux like regular non-rich normal people and want this to work.

Can you help?

I used this config (though use hw 2,0 rather than 0,0 as the usb stuff comes up as 2 and 1)
